Our Subiaco trip is getting closer and closer. We have a wonderful group going. If you are interested in attending we have a few extra rooms reserved. However, we need a final count soon!
Please let Pat know when you plan to arrive at Subiaco on Friday, March 30th. We need to let the kitchen know how many to expect for supper at 6:00. Bring some drinks and snacks to share!
The 2012 Oklahoma March for Life will be on March 28th at the state Capitol. If you plan on attending the March please contact Carl. They need a list of attendees, for security purposes concerning admission to the Capital building.
St. Thomas More Council 8523 is having a First Degree exemplification this Wednesday night 2/15/12 candidates 6:30 degree at 7:00. If you have a candidate Carl know as soon as possible so we can let the Grand Knight at 8523 know.
Council 8523 is holding a 1st Degree Exemplification on Wednesday, November 16th, at 7 p.m. at its Council House at 1511 Jenkins in Norman. Candidates are to be there by 6:30 p.m. Please bring the Constitutional Roll for your Council along with a 1st Degree kit for each candidate. If you have candidates who have not been voted on but wish to join our Brotherhood that evening, they can be voted on prior to the start of the Exemplification.

A Mass of thanksgiving for Larry Hallauer will be said Thursday, Nov 10, at 5:30 in St. Mark’s Chapel. Early last Saturday Larry Hallauer went into surgery to receive a new heart. His new heart started beating on it’s own almost immediately and he is expected to make a complete recovery. Your prayers and thoughts for Larry and his family are welcome.
Father Tom has given his approval for Adoration from 9:00 AM to Noon on the First Friday of each month. We do not want to take anything away from the 24/7 Adoration at St. Joseph but we need your help to cover all 3 hours because the Blessed Sacrament can not be left alone.

There is going to be a 2nd & 3rd degree exemplification held at St. Teresa of Avila in Harrah Sunday October 30th candidates need to be there by 12:30, and the degree will start at 1:00. Let Carl know if you want get your 2nd & 3rd degrees, or if you would like to be an attendee. We will need to get them a head count by October 24th.
St. Mark’s will host a first degree ceremony for all newly registered Brother Knight on the evening of October 12, 2011. If you are interested in becoming a member, now is the perfect time to register so as to be ready for the first degree ceremony. Current Brother Knights are encouraged to attend to show support to their new members. Please contact Carl Deaver if you would like to take part in the ceremony. Candidates should be present by 7:00pm with the ceremony to start at 7:30pm.
